Due to a strong pipeline of brownfields projects , we are seeking experienced Trades Assistants to join our team for ongoing site-based roles across WA. About the Role We are looking for reliable, safety-focused Trades Assistants who are seeking consistent, long-term work and are willing to support crews across a range of site activities. Trades Assistants Assist trades personnel with daily site activities across SMP works. Support mechanical, structural, and piping crews as required. Perform general labouring, material handling, and equipment support tasks. Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas. Assist with shutdown, maintenance, and construction activities on brownfields sites. Work collaboratively across multiple crews and disciplines where required. Mandatory Requirements Proven experience working on brownfields projects within SMP maintenance and construction projects. Strong understanding of site safety procedures and permit systems. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Trades Assistant OR previous experience from a trade background. Current EWP Ticket (11m) . Current Working at Heights (within 2 years). Current Confined Space (within 2 years). Current Construction White Card . Current Driver’s License . Ability to pass a pre-employment medical , including drug & alcohol screening . Highly Regarded Additional tickets and licenses (Forklift, Rigging/Dogging, HR License, etc.) What We’re Looking For Team players with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
